Summer Camp – Volunteers support fun summer enrichment classes such as gardening, circus arts, cooking and more!  Camps are at John Muir, week of June 25th and Graham Hill, week of July 23rd.  Volunteers typically volunteer in three hour shifts.

Volunteers are also needed for two additional weeks at John Muir.  The week of July 9th (Mon-Thurs) for help with an art class and the week of July 23rd (Mon-Thurs) for a cooking class.

A Just Right Summer! – Recognizing that many students lose reading skills over the summer, volunteers and instructors set up fun literacy games to keep 1st and 2nd grade students engaged in learning.  Students also get to check out books to take home.  Sessions are Wednesday evenings for eight weeks at the Rainier Beach Library
